Said request may be made either upon character creation (to not include the PC's name in the text of any content) or within two weeks of the creation of such content (to remove said PC's name from the text of that particular piece of content).

Benton Wilson retains the right to base new game or fiction content (whether for this site or other commercial purposes) whether in part or in whole on PCs, their actions, or their backgrounds.

Mod-Run Worlds

All site members retain ownership of their mod-run worlds and all associated rights save where noted otherwise.

Any content which an individual running a mod-run world requests become statted actual game content that is not bound to said mod-run world falls under the policy for 'Suggested Content'.

Benton Wilson retains the right to base new game or fiction content (whether for this site or other commercial purposes) whether in part or in whole on mod run worlds and any stories, characters, or objects associated with them.

Fanart

Any fanart containing or depicting official game content but not characters, locations, items, or logos whose rights are held by an individual other than Benton Wilson (including PCs) become solely property of Benton Wilson. All rights, save the right for the artwork's original creator's identity to not be mis-represented, to such artwork is surrendered by its respective creator, with Benton Wilson obtaining all said rights, including the right to use said content commercially without paying royalties or any other form of compensation to its original creator and the right to sell said content to another individual or corporation. The original creators of said fanart retain the right to display and distribute their works for non-profit purposes.

Any fanart containing or depicting official game content and characters, locations, items, or logos whose rights are held by an individual other than Benton Wilson (including PCs) becomes in part property of Benton Wilson. All rights, save the right for the artwork's original creator's identity to not be mis-represented, to the portion of the artwork depicting official game content are surrendered by its respective creator, with Benton Wilson obtaining all said rights, including the right to use said content commercially without paying royalties or any other form of compensation to its original creator and the right to sell said content to another individual or corporation. All rights to the remainder of the artwork are retained by the artwork's original creator.

Editing of Site Legal Policy

Benton Wilson reserves the right to update or edit site legal policy at any time, provided that an announcement of such that is visible on the currently active version of the site is made at said time. Any content produced under previous site legal policy is covered by the prior policy, unless its creator continues to use the site for two weeks or longer after said legal policy update occurs, at which point said content falls under the site's new legal policy.
