time traveling at the plains of El-Bazaril

Please post all player-started quests, character-made announcements, clan threads, and the linke in this area. Pleae note that player created quests are generally given lower update priority than official ones, so it is a bad idea to start one that requires GM input while multiple official quest threads are active.

"Ain't no Starlight anywhere 'round here. Nuttin' fresh anyway, n' nuttin dat people ain't already got. Stuff'll shine for miles around. If it was here, we'd see it." Dusty considers the area. "Welp, There's some forest over east-ways. Tree sap tastes a bit like molasses. Got sum kinda giant insects, wit' arms that'll chop yer arm off. That swamp in da Nort'west, wit da Hags innit? Best be mindful where yer steppin', n' don't breathe too deep. Them hags tried to bushwhack me when I was here last, but I had 'em by the Ah-Kill-Hees heel." Dusty holds up an Isbardogal Marsh Bloom. "Swamp flower. Them hussies couldn't handle the stuff. I managed ta get away from 'em, and get their valuables away from 'em too. Since we're in da past an' all, all the ol' tricks are new again. Maybe they even got some Starlight, and got it tucked away. They had it, or sumpin' like it when I was here. So I say we head out there and rob 'em again!" Dusty whoops with a mischevious grin.

EDIT: Come to think of it, Dusty's a man of action, and noone else is expressing an opinion. He'll just start trotting his horse off to the swamp, and let everyone else follow him.

"Our path, it seems, is chosen."

Carefully setting Tia down on/in the car, the airborne 'duo' fly into the air to keep watch from above, Zephyrus reading the air both for signs of any unusual activity and for the marsh blooms the cowboy mentioned.
Characters:
Caelum "Cael" Aetherius, a spirit pretending to be a mage pretending to know what he's doing.
Lady Rosaline, a proper, polite and perfectly punctual person.
The Floating Isle of Volatilis. Thousands of citizens, hundreds of mages, one drunk pilot and the people that despair of him.

Your group heads for the swamp. You head off into the tall grass. Normally, there would be a great number of insects present, but the movement of the herd, which is present even over in the tall grass and swampland, seems to have caused them to retreat somewhere. The group heads into the murk, with the ground getting wetter and muddier as they go. The car starts having some trouble before it deploys its offroad, water-capable tires. Any particular precautions you're taking as you head into the marsh itself?

Zephyrus is using his wind-reading/feeling ability to the fullest extent he can, noting anomalies and checking for unusual activity- including potential ambushes. He won't just be focusing on the ground- being an air spirit, he's well aware of the risks of aerial attack.
Having heard about the marsh blooms, he'll also be doing his best to subtly keep the air around the party clear, just in case they end up falling victim to the insidious blossoms themselves.

Dusty remembers that one quicksand trap he encountered before, and warns the party of it. He'll be taking point to look for it.

Kit nods at this.

"OKay dusty... lead the way..."

Kit does another radar scan pulse, trying to scout ahead, while also using her magics to try to pinpoint the hags location. she is ready to get out to fight at a moment's notice.

Mhuck... Never liked murky water myself.

<The golem will move as well as he can, and send out a couple hobos to find him a couple sandwiches to heal his woes. He'll take a seat on/in the car if the car is sturdy enough to allow that.>
My brain is an avacado, an avacado with wings!

Notables are as follow:
Puppet master Lili
sturdy Shielding Golem
and that other guy Darston
Archimedes, a cat of manly tears.
Oneman, the complicated fellow who has earned a place here for convenience's sake.
Stravis, really not such a bad guy once he gets to (kn) own you. Seriously, watch out. He wants your body, and not in a good way.

As they travel, it occurs to Dusty that if they are in the past, then robbing the hags would only be stealing the things he will already have stolen eventually. And if they are in the future, the hags are either long gone, or holding a grudge for him.

"On second thought, fellas, I think you oughta go on without me. I hate swamps. You might need this..." Dusty hands Kit his Isbardogal Marsh Bloom. "those hags hate the smella these somethin' fierce. And watch out for the quicksand trap up ahead, too."

"Adios, muchachos." Dusty rides off into the...well, it's not the right time of day for a sunset, but he certainly rides off in the general direction of solar bodies.

Dusty departs off into the wilderness of another time.

He gets-
"Rode off Into Time"

The Golem may sit on the car. The hobos fan out. One brings back a 'sandwich' made of two rocks with a questionable assortment of plants and what appears to be a crushed newt in it.

Tia and Zeph are on the lookout.

Kit's car's scan comes up with the a large, square blip that is labelled:
"Enemy Secret Underground Base
Enemy Agents: Hundreds
Defenses: Liekly Trapped
Possible Targets of Mission: Unique Motorcycle"
